I just recently took this and several other dragons out of storage. These pieces are all from the Dragon Lords series by Grenadier produced in 1985-6. All these dragons were primed, painted with solid undercoats, then finished with metallic dragonscale cremes from Ral Partha. These minis all were painted over 15 years ago. By the standards of the minis posted here, I admit they are not painted that well, however I thought some people might be interested in seeing this out of print series from the past.

Nice Chromatic(Tiamet?) Dragon. Everyone should keep their old classics for Posterity.

Thank you very much for posting all of these amazing dragons. I have not seen them since 1985 at the local gaming store when I was a youngster. These are beautifully painted for that time period. We did not have the fantastic paints and brushes back then. Well done!
