I just recently took this and several other dragons out of storage. These pieces are all from the Dragon Lords series by Grenadier produced in 1985-6. All these dragons were primed, painted with solid undercoats, then finished with metallic dragonscale cremes from Ral Partha. These minis all were painted over 15 years ago. By the standards of the minis posted here, I admit they are not painted that well, however I thought some people might be interested in seeing this out of print series from the past.

Actually, I think it was 1983-84, since I was buying each new one as they came out, and that was right around when I got married. They were great, if you had the Proof Of Purchase from all 12 (one a month), then you got the display, and center altar, with a plastic gem for the center. Each dragon had a base, with a corresponding colored gem.

Nice figure. You can still get some Grenadier. The moulds were bought when they folded.
