Copper Dragon

I just recently took this and several other dragons out of storage. These pieces are all from the Dragon Lords series by Grenadier produced in 1985-6. All these dragons were primed, painted with solid undercoats, then finished with metallic dragonscale cremes from Ral Partha. These minis all were painted over 15 years ago. By the standards of the minis posted here, I admit they are not painted that well, however I thought some people might be interested in seeing this out of print series from the past.

I also have a "copper dragon" from that grenadier series but it's completely different. Its wings are like corrugated sheet metal, its tail is turned up and it's got a dwarf rider. The base looks like shingle. Can't postthe pic as i don't have a digicam. Won't fit in the scanner. Re paint job: 15+ years ago there weren't half the colours we've got today PLUS there were different standards .... you can look at the minis in the WHFRP rule book ... some wouldn't get a 4 in this forum
