Warmachine Protectorate of Menoth Revenger Warjack

Repost with the shadows cropped out and a background added. I'm working on a PoM army. I'm going with pretty traditional colors but trying for a more high-contrast black to white color than the Privateer Press creamy white color. The red I'm using is a real low saturation red/maroon color. I'm also using metallic paints and really trying to crank these guys out quickly. The bases are dark in back and light in front to clearly mark the 180 degree front arc for gaming purposes. If you think it looks weird, that's reasoning behind it. Please let me know what you think. I'm still dialing things in so comments are really appreciated while I still have time to make improvements to the bulk of the army. Thanks! -Andy

I like this, very clean lines, great shading and lovely base.

Hey, thanks for the comments guys! Yeah... as much work as it is to crop the models off the background in Photoshop, I think I'll just go with the backgrounds in my actual pics. I just bought a little light cube to diffuse my lamp light. Hopefully that will help with the shadows and whatnot. Everything is a work in progress, no? =)

Agreed, I much prefer the first photo you posted of this. Having said that, the standard of painting is high, the whole army looks great, good job.
