Samba Garasu - Soul Vice
It's finished! My God, the sweat and the pain, but at last it's finished! My first piece using Coat d'Arms paints...I'm very happy. The paints themselves are smashing to work with and a hell of a lot cheaper than some I'd care to mention. I used Deadly Nightshade and Putrid Blue through to Elven Grey and White on the face, and Festering Blue/Elven Grey mix on the breastplate and other similarly coloured areas layering through to White. The gem? Black first, Black/Hairy Brown, Hairy Brown, Hairy Brown/Ruby Red, Ruby Red, Flame Orange, Golden Yellow, Golden Yellow and White then just White. The same kind of scheme is apparent in the hair, though in less measured quantities. My only personal gripes for the moment are my handling of the feet and the fact I used a spray primer (black) that caused terrible texturing of the surface :( It wasn't Coat d'Arms, just some cheap stuff I'd picked up and won't be using again. In fact, having spoken with Sturmhalo, I think I'll be using only brush-on now. One more thing, the pink bits were also started off with Hairy Brown and the Shocking Pink added in steps, finishing with pure White. Special, limited edition mini this one, so for news on where and when, keep an eye on the website at http://www.stonecirclegames.com Thank you for taking the time to read this! Keep praying for peace good citizens...bless you all, each and every one of you...yes, even you there madam. Eh? No, just a general kind of blessing that's all. No, you can't have a 'lucky' blessing! Be glad that I've given even a little blessing! I don't have to you know. Go on, bugger off. Amen
