Conan the Conqueror

This is the paint master for Clayburn Moore's most recent collaboration with Frank Frazetta. This massive, awe inspiring statue depicts a mounted Conan from the stunning painting by Frank Frazetta for the cover of Conan the Conqueror. I was given the daunting task of reproducing Frazetta's brilliant work in 3 dimensions. It’s 1/7 scale and 18'' in length and approximately 15" tall.

"Hither came Conan, the Cimmerian, black-haired, sullen-eyed, sword in hand, a thief, a reaver, a slayer, with gigantic melancholies and gigantic mirth, to tread the jeweled thrones of the Earth under his sandalled feet."

I really like the modell, the only bad part is the hair on the chest. In this scale this must be sculpted or painted somehow else, but in this case it looks like shaved- not typical for an im-so-masculine barbarian. Well, its a great modell again, congratulations!
