Draegyn

My latest work - Draegyn from Privateer Press' Iron Kingdoms range of miniatures. With this miniature it is almost like a love/hate relationship ... the sculpt is great in my opinion, but the casting quality wasn't the best. I started the miniature 3 times, stripping it again and again and leaving it on the shelf for another couple of weeks. This time everything was working against me again - finding new casting imperfections even after cleaning the miniature countless times, grainy primer and, of course, lousy pictures of the finished miniature. Speaking of the result however I am fairly happy with it and I think it was a good decision to push through and finish the miniature. As always feedback, tips and suggestions are appreciated :)

Very impressive! I think that all the effort you put into him really paid off. The mini has great atmosphere and character. The painting looks great and your base is incredible. Great job!

the mini is good but you have used too white and it gives a dirty finish to the mini, happy painting
