A Catachan jungle fighter

This is another figure I painted up from the GW boxed set. I used citadel black primer and paints for it and used a fine detail brush along with a starter brush. I haven't yet based it as I'm hoping to get some static grass or flock to go along with the gravel I already have. Comments are welcome - thanks a lot!

Thanks for the comment, Garshnak. I realize that in real life there are no dark crevices in skin; I'll try to work on that. As you can see by looking at my other minis, they are all painted how you describe this one, so it might be a hard habit to break.

Overall is does not look that bad, and to the sight of the bag-strap i can see that you can paint a thin straight (but not to straight) line. Use that gift to give your mini a more detailed look. By for an example, paint muscles-stripes and rimples on the skin to give it an older look. And for the color of the skin I would like to say that its totally wrong(ecept for that its pink, but thats not the only color in your skin). Try and hold this minis skin next to yours and see the difference. Does your skin have such dark crevises, no, does your skin hav only the color pink, no(its actually made of brown tans, just like hair, blond, very light brown, red, oak brown/red and so on and so forth). Please keep on painting because i can see your not bad beacuase its nonetheless neatly painted.
