Hi, Mephisto1984,
Thanks for your comments.
Sorry, the picture is not very good. I used Vallejo metallic colors for the metal parts: "Chainmail Silver", wash with black ink, and finally, "Silver".
Regards.
Hi, for your first 15mm miniatures they look ok. Most people don't do highlights or just apply a wash, so well done! Just some ideas, how you could improve the paintjob:
The grass on the base is dangling over the edge. After you applied it I recommedn to take a brush an just erect it all around the base. That looks nice and tidy. I would also add some longer grass, brushes, bigger stones and leave some areas free, so one can see the soil. I guess you could also use even finer sand, to represent the soil, or try woodfiller, as the grains are rather big for the scale.
The paintjob looks rather 'unclean', that is to say the different areas are easy to distinguish, given the contrast is not high enough. Maybe a wash with devlan mud would imrpove it. I would also recommedn to thin down your paint a bit as it seems to be a rather thick layer, making it 'chalky'.
What did you use for the metal parts? Looks like gray, but I would use some metallics.
Hope that helps and was not too harsh.
