My first attempt at an Ironclad for my fledgling chapter, The Knights Scorpio. Its built using a Plastic Dread with parts from the GW metal Venerable. Plus bits from loads of different kits.

Nice job mate. looks better in the flesh... :) If i were going to do anything to it i'd try to increase the definition. Pick out edges in mithril on the steel areas. pos mix add blue/green/purple to the washes. It will tint the metal and break up the large areas of single colour.

the design is how i expected an ironclad to look. i dont know how i would do it, maybe add some damage as he is ment to be heavy enough to take punishment. and i agree with prock on the metal. but i wouldnt say adding green and blue to it, maybe another black wash over the metal to make it darker then dry-brush it up which should add a nice texture and highlighting.
