My 1st Space Marine Sergeant - Black Reach

Hi all, this is my first mini. I've been painting for 3 weeks now and am quickly becoming hooked. I'd love any comments to help me improve. The standard on here seems to be really high there are some fantastic models. Please don't be too harsh!!! I'm going to keep uploading as I paint so let me know how I'm doing. Any tips or tricks really appreciated. Chris

Hey thanks Ulrikk, seriously I really appreciate it. You're right about the mould lines. I hadn't bought a good enough modelling knife and so being impatient thought "oh you can't really see it" --- Idiot. I'll be more careful next time. As for the bases, I'm experimenting with greenstuff now which is awesome. next couple of minis up this weekend. Thanks again to everyone for their votes.

Really good work, especially for a beginner. The only idea I have to improve it is to highlight the chest eagle a bit more, remove the tricky little mold line on the sword handle and maybe put a bit more details on the base. But don't let my words bring you down, this mini is really good!
