Confrontation Minotaur

This was painted as a gift for my younger brother, turns out that he gets the best miniature I have ever painted. However, my skills just keep getting sharper. I had a hard time with the NMM, I think my technique conflicts on this piece, I do think the metal still looks cool though. Comments are appreciated.

Stoopid model - great paint job. What is it with Confrontation and those out-size weapons? They're worse than GW!

Thanks SkyDancer for the positive remarks. Although...the end of the hilt on the weapons are actually not spheres, more like a squashed cylinder. That is a neat idea though...it wouldn't be that hard. Using a 2D picture like this you could translate this to a 3d model without too much trouble. Thanks again

I think your NMM is particularly amazing given the ability you seem to have of implying a shape or texture that really isn't there. For example, the balls on the end of the sword hilts are spheres, but you've painted them as if they have ridges, and incredibly, you pulled it off---you've created the illusion that the spheres are actually ridged. Wow.
