African Elephant (Ral Partha)

Animal miniatures are hard to find, at times, but thankfully Ral Partha supplied some at one point.

I think the back legs look too dark. Otherwise nice job, and the tusks look very natural. Painting an elephant is cool. I bought Ral Partha's wild animal set a while back and one of these days I'll paint them (I especially like the badger).

i think this is quite good. one of my favorites of your listing. it could certainly be hyper-realistic-ized with more soft blanding on the hide, instead of drybrushing, but i think it works really well. you captured a realistic texture and tone. it also stands up well under considerations of painted-to-scale. ignore rootbeer. who would paint an elephant? anyone that wants to, Barqs-Banner-Boy. ;P keep it up.
