I do agree with Wren, may be a different color for the base would bring more attention to the miniature. By the way, the green-blue variations seems cool, so 7! Go on!
I like the blue-green carapace colour (and how it's painted) a lot, but seems like it needs a bit more colour variation in some other areas to stand out a little more.
