Hi all, This is my first post on Coolminiornot. I have been painting for a little over 1 year, so I still have a lot to learn! This piece was a commission and is my fourth completed mini. She is 'Fiona the Black' - a mercenary Warcaster in the Warmachine game by Privateer Press. I found it a very difficult piece to paint due to the immense amount of details in the sculpt. The customer asked if I could incorporate the darker green colour scheme of his army somewhere into the figure. I decided to base the figure on this colour highlighted with a dark turquoise. I had heaps of fun though, and I really hope the customer likes her! Comments welcome! Thanks!

You've been painting for a little over 1 year??!! I've been at this for over 25 years and I can't paint that good. Anyway, she looks great, beautiful color scheme.

the sculpt is not on e of my favorites..but you made it look great. the blue's are just superb.

What a great start on cmon! Photography is something I struggle with - so, allowing for the 'shine' on the figure due to lighting, this looks to have been very nicely painted indeed. The freehand and blending in particular look to have been well done - I'm sure your customer is most pleased. All the very best luck with your entries for golden demon. Regards, Sean.
