Looks good to me, but yeah, the photo quality needs a little help. Maybe it's the focus, but it may be that the camera (or your hand) moved during the shot. See if your camera has a feature that will focus the shot, then count down ten seconds or so, as if you were running to get into the photo, before it takes the picture. With the camera on a stable surface or tripod, this will go a long way to eliminating 'camera-shake.' I disagree a little with RedGreen in that I think the helmet bands are metal, and the depressed areas leather, but that's just me. Keep it up!!
Looks like a great first attempt, a bit hard to see due to the photo quality! Your green skin looks nicely done, the pants/shoes? could have a little more definition. There are a number of great articles on this site about taking/posting photos and also about blending/shading colours which you might find helpful. Keep up the good work!
