My entry for our clan painting competion (Waaagh-Clan Göppingen). It´s not finished - just WIP as the title says. I tried new things on this mini and a little "detailled" Heraldy on the shoulder pad. The lava base was also a new technique. Better shots and improved paintjobs for this mini will be updated later. PS: Sry for my English it´s late ^^.

unfortunately this mini is for a special competition of our clan an one rule is not to modify the mini. after the competition the holes will be drilled an I think i will use an other right arm. @ face ne das ist green stuff. @ Macvayss i thought that there would be too much organge/reddish on this mini. in theory the green should contrast to the organge an as a cool colour to the beige of the Armour I added this pic for first reactions to improve the mini for the competition. Thanks for your comments and keep on posting ^^.

face of dark future
die lavabase sieht um längen besser aus als die rüstung. aber ich mag das freehand und die angeschmolzene platte. aber bohr doch den bolter auf, sieht dann schon weit besser aus. sind das gotcha-kugeln in der base?

I love that base! Very cool light effects on the grid The Termi shading is too dark for me. I love the idea to use just one colour for contrast ( chest eagle etc.) but would have done it red (and will, for mine are going to be painted some day to) to match the broken - winged sword color. You shall drill the holes for the gun barrel too (better look) cheers
