Dwarf with hammer / part of stone thrower/catapult crew

Here's my latest mini, finished today. It is my first dwarf I ever painted so accurately - or at least, I tried to do so ;) He is part of the stone thrower crew from GW and soon will be fixed in an already 90%-finished scenary together with his companions and the catapult, of course (which still need to be painted). In the meantime, I would be glad if you would vote on him and perhaps even leave a comment on what's fine, what's to improve etc. (BTW: His eyes are not red, but brown - unfortunately, the photo came out with an almost red eye. But I am almost sure he is no undead dwarf ;) )

The hammer heads should have a different coloration to the body of the head. They just look flat. Left knuckles could be blended better. How about a little sheen on that bald head?

I think he's neatly painted with good transition between colors (like on the boots, for example). I think if you're aiming for a rating significantly higher than high-end tabletop quality, though, you're going to have to be more methodical and more generous with painting of light and shadow - top of his head, upper surfaces of his sleeves, pouch immediately under his overhanging arm, etc.
