Teraph Light Warbeast

Umm.. I found Privateer Press actually by accident. I didn't intend on buy ANY of them until I saw the Teraph. I loved the pose, loved the curling tail with the large bladed tip. Didn't like the four leg thing it had goin'... So I left off the two smaller ones. ANYWAY! I painted it using GW colors, the skin was a basecoat of Shadow Grey/Regal Blue(50:50), a drybrush of Shadow Grey, and a Highlight of Shadow Grey/Ice Blue (30:60) The carapaces and spikes were basecoated with Chaos Black and highlighted with a mix of Chaos Black/Bestial Brown (50:50) and highlighted about another three times with more Bestial Brown added to the mix. (I know, the highlights are hard to see...) The claws, talons, and teeth were painted with just Fortress Grey... Overall I think it turned out quite nicely... Sorry for the long comment, and please rate and comment, I would very much like to hear any compliments and/or criticism anyone has to offer! Thank you from the Nightshaded One..

Pic is to blurry, can't see any details really. Don't know how anyone is giving this a rating above 1.

It's hard to comment on the paint job because the photo is blurry and badly lit. You'll notice the tail (farthest part from the camera) is the most focused. Work on your photography skills a bit - here's a link to help out http://www.privateerpressforums.com/index.php?showtopic=5813 What we can see of the paint job looks pretty good, but it's really hard to tell.
