Blood Bowl Chaos Dwarf -- TBB2007 Legacy Team
One year after painting my first "real" miniature -- the converted Dark Elf Catcher in my gallery -- I finally got around to painting my second one. Like that Dark Elf, this Chaos Dwarf, a figure for GW's Blood Bowl game of fantasy football, was painted for the TalkBloodBowl.com's collective group Legacy team. This meant that that color scheme was voted on by the forum at large -- yellow with purple would not have been my choice for this guy! My only other option was to not participate, though, so I sucked it up and did my best. Painting my forum screen name on the base, so we'd know by whom each miniature was painted once they were all collected by the organizer, was also a requirement. All things considered, I didn't actually put too much effort into this figure; I'm just an active member of the TalkBloodBowl.com community, and wanted to do the figure simply to take part in the 2007 team. Still, being that he was only my second "real" figure (meaning that I'm not counting those few I'd done years earlier in a three-color paint-by-number style without any concept of even thinning my paints, much less shading and highlighting, etc.), any comments and contructive criticism are welcome.
