You asked for comments on shout, so...
The obvious is get a digital camera, but I'll assume you don't have a few $100 sitting around. I think there are tutorials on getting the best out of a scanner pic.
The piece looks well put-together as I don't see any obvious joins and since I don't have much GW I don't know your source pieces. I like the shield and the other armor bits. I think the parts don't match though. The legs are too small for the torso, and there is no way those hands could hold that tiny bow.
