this is my latest addition to my dkk army,a macharius vulcan.this model recently won the monster/vehicle catagory in the gamesworkshop national painting competition at my local store in swansea.hope you like,i'll post some close up pics too when i get time,im stll getting to grips with a new camera.comments welcome :-)

I saw this in the cabinet in GW, very nicely painted mate! :)

the easiest way i found to do the stripe was to mask off the edges on the main bit of armour plate then paint the stripe around 5-7 even coats of bleached bone,the rest of the stripe was added freehand.to weather it i drybrushed the mud/dust in many layers of different browns then washed the whole area with a brown ink glaze.i think the end result is pretty authentic looking :-) thanks for the 9 buddy,happy painting

Looking good, i have been trying to get that weathered stripe at the front but keep messing up, so i know how hard it is to get it right
