Flesh Tearer Sergeant

This is a re-painted mini I coverted ages ago to be used as part of a diorama that I'm working on. He's still unfinished but I though I'd post a WIP shot to see what you thought of the weathering on the armour. It's the first time I've tried it and I'm still not sure. Any advice will be very welcome. Cheers, Rich.

Cool! Not a perfect paintjob - you accidentally painted some of the leg armour's edges black - but this miniature creates an atmosphere just through it's composition.

I like the armour, though the transition from depth to surface could use to be smoother, and i agree, the extreme highlights again brings out the excessive contrast from depth to surface in the mini, pick a light source and blend from dark to light and you might find it makes your mini nicer

Armor chipping is very good, but the close up is bringing out all of the bad parts of the mini. I don't like the extreme highlighting on the face and it looks out of place on this model. On a high note DAMN that's a good camera for such a clear close shot.
