"Old Man Tumbergrumbler leads the Goblins Squabs to battle!"
This was my entry for Games Day Baltimore 2008 in the Warhammer Regiment category. Unfortunately I didn't make the cut. But I'm still very pleased with how this piece turned out. I've never seen anyone attempt a contoured surface for the display base, so I hoped that feature would help it stand out. I also hoped the multi-colored theme would be viewed as "creative" by the judges, but I suspect they wanted to see "greenskins", "consistent with Games Workshop products and fiction". Some you old-schoolers might recognize the classic Kev Adams goblins. I painted some of those goblins in 1992!
