"c) the design on the inside of the shield looks like an American" - it's actually meant to be a setting sun to fit in with the whole 'Sword of Twilight' thing. And the plastic letters came on an aplhabet sprue I bought from Squires (http://www.squirestools.com/) - great company for modelling stuff :)

Overall, it's very nice. My (constructive) criticisms would be: a) the cloak is kinda shiny, b) the shading on the face and boots is pretty stark, and c) the design on the inside of the shield looks like an American Indian design to me (sorta vaguely Navaho) rather than Elven. Nice job. I'm not a big fan of labeled bases, but if you're going to add lettering, this plastic lettering looks a LOT better than hand painted letters.
