Faucheur D'Alahan

This is my first sculpted base using green stuff, and would appreciate some tips on how to get a smooth surface free of fingertips. Thanks

Nice transitions of colors here. The sword needs alittle help though. With greenstuff, you can either use lip balm or vaseline to gloss the surface, and smooth it out with your tool. Or when you are flattening putty surface, use a clear plastic wrapping (from cd cases, greenstuff wrapping, etc.). Lubricate the wrapping, and smooth it out with your fingers instead of leaving prints!

The number one thing I've discovered that helps with green stuff is to wet your tools. The water stops it from sticking. The best tool I've found is something that looks a bit like an ice pick.
