2485 Egyptian Sorceress

This one sure shows a lot of skin --I had to put on lots of layers of paint to achieve a smoothly-varying skin tone. The klaft (headdress) feather pattern is taken from an Ancient Egyptian painting pattern; I had to touch it up several times. I also had fun making its giant scarab base --using plain Play-Doh. I then experimented with a painting technique that should give a good impression of sandstorm-eroded stone.

I love the base and the expression on her face is like she's having a joyous religious experience.

The skin is good and the headdress is great. The cleft in the upper lip and the furrows on the sides, combined with the over-large lips make her look like she has a snout like a cat. I suggest reducing the colored part of the lips and less shading on the cheeks.
