Great start for a first time figure, but here's some things to improve:
-Look on the intrernet for "drybrushing" or try one of the articles here, you'll get greatlooking effects and it's not hard to do.
-flock your base, either use a grass or sand, or just about anything you like, you can buy flock about anywhere
-don't get discouraged by the score, the more you paint, the better you'll get.
