An Asakura clan ninja. His legs are decorated with the Asakura mon and his tattoo reads chuujitsu or loyalty.
The cotton is supposed to represent fog, or put better: Ninja Smoke!
I agree with the comments thus far. THe paint Job looks great. The floral pattern on the scarf and the other freehand work look great. I'm always a little to timid to attemp things like that myself. The cotton does detract from the mini itself but i'm not sure how I'd resolve the situation myself.
The paintwork on the mini is outstanding. The floral patterns and calligraphy are really nice and the tone and colour is great. The cotton wool, however, is a mistake. Not sure if it's such a mistake as to deserve the scores you've had so far, though. It's still a fantastic model.
