Painted in acrylics a while ago (in 2007) but til then, I'm still unable to take a good pic. That's my "less worse" try :D A very nice sculpt and it was the first I got so much pleasure to paint
Wow. I'm doing some LOTR stuff right now and reckon I'm "competent" as a painter, but I find the naturalistic proportions really hard to work with. You've done this so beautifully.
