Seventh Son

Basic head and arm swap of the Kal Jericho figure. I'm quite pleased with how the stripes came out, even though I was originally going to try tartan and realised my limitations. The photo is a bit blurry but you can just about see the detail, just about. For my next project i'm going to try NMM's and single source lighting, so wish me luck.

Just so no one is deprived of the wisdom of Folken, he said, "It is painted well, but the scheme...One would think the poor guy had gone for a walk in his pyjamas...lol" LOL indeed...

Awesome shading etc - has a cool look like it's a painting rather than a mini (I think that's cool rather than a detraction). The stripes are, sure, a little odd - but I don't think they look like pyjamas! And wouldn't give a 4 even if they did, the painting is too good :) . He reminds me a lot of the crazy gyrocopter guy from Mad Max (or possibly one of those 1910s-1940s explorer guys who always have zeppelins or aeroplanes in action movies) , although I'm not entirely sure why. I think the headgear plus esoteric outfit. The red is a little bright compared to the rest of the mini.
