Here my version of Vald von Carstein. The miniature is a very detailed sculpt so I was only able to ´show painting skills with colour choice, effects and make increasing the detail degree on this miniature. Again I use a mix of NMM and TM. All metal parts are painted TM like sword and all the small figures on the armour. all armour parts are painted in a dark NMM to simulate enamel or coated surface. The wings of all the small figures on his armour are also painted with NMM. By this way I get a very dark armour which fits perfectly tho his background. The center of the miniature is the light center formed by his head and hair. both painted in way of a ghostly look to fit to his living cloak. I add contrast using red for his jewelry and inside of his cloak. He perfectly fit´s to my other vampire which can be seen in my galerie.
