Pre-heresy Emperor's Children

I graduated and lost all my images. So, reposting them all, slowly, one at at a time. Once upon a time I actually though about making an entire well painted army. Hah! Folly of the youth! :) Anyhow, these were the minis that were supposed to make up the first unit. The idea was to make a pre-heresy EC army, using only old minis (or conversions), so that every soldier would have and old-style marine armour. I still have the unpainted minis for an entire army, including oldskool land raider and rhinos.

very nice! Also, though the Emperor's Children legion was first allowed to bear the Aquilla on their chest, they were not of course forced to do so. It is likely that not all members of that legion converted their armor in this way. In fact, these marines could well represent those that fought for their legion even before the Emperor's Children were awarded the Aquilla upon their chest.

It might be a good idea to read your fluff, as it states that the Emperor's Children - thanks to that naming, and some words from Fulgrim- were the only Legion allowed to wear the Imperial Eagle on their chestplates.. though I can't see them on your models..

Ditto below. Bigger pics, looks great from here though. Would be nice to see all that work you did.
