MERACK the Warlord # Skorne Style Warrior #

This is my second real try after some exercises on tree other Minis. I've grat problems with plain surfaces like the shield but I keep on trying. I'm proud about the Helmet, the sword and the halberd (the grain on the Shaft was my first try) Thanks for looking. Helpful tips are welcome

Nice work overall. The green that you've painted on the corners of your base is throwing me a a bit but I see what you were trying to achieve with it. As a general rule when you have a flat-edged base like this it's generally best to paint it all one color. As to the shield...I think you are on the right path. I can suggest a refinement to your current technique that may really help. Shoot me a PM and I'll see if I can help.
