Ultramarine Commander

This mini marks the point where I really got the hang of blending (gun and sword).

Don't thin with water.. it works sometimes.. but it dries your paint out even quicker. Use Model Masters Acrylic Enamel Thinner. You only need a few drops of it. Also.. if you are going to thin your paints.. use a round palette dish that you can put small ammounts of paint into each of the cups (available at any arts and crafts store - get the shinniest and smoothest one so it's easier to get the paint out when it's dry) Thin your paint in the dishes.. not in the bottle of the paint. I find it best to thin 3 drops of vellejo to 1 drop thinner and 3 drops GW to 2 drops Thinner. Have fun and keep up the good work! p.s. This thinner also works good for making washes and inks.. don't know why people have to mix their own soap and water or use floor wax to do that.. ;)

Gun and sword r nicely blended. But all the mini looks like if ur paints were too thick. If I were u I would try to thin them with water. Keep blending, u r getting the point ;)
