The fog idea is cool, I think... I also like your paintjob, it´s very good. The minis´ eyes are a bit too dark for my liking, but that´s just my taste. A very fine-looking squad!
white wool tries to simulate fog, and the bases are painted like if it were marbled... a little messy result, but I still like it. thanks for your comment!
