This is my first attempt at painting in eight yeras!! Also it is my first time finishing a miniatures base! I found the static grass rather difficult to attatch. If anyone has advice on how to apply the stuff please let me know!! Any other comments are welcome!

I've just started up again after 10 years. Only posted old minis so far though. Had to learn this static grass too, so I got some tips: Using superglue rather than PVA makes the grass clump together more; after varnishing the grass sticks up a bit more. Nice paint job. Would like to see more edge highlights like on the backpack.

Nice come back piece. Only complaints is that your paint looks pretty thick. Try thinning it down to at least a 1:1 ratio with water then apply thin layers. Base looks real good. Maybe one additional highlight layer of bleached bone or pure white across the board. Otherwise, good job!
