No doubt your technique is really good but i dont personally think it fits this miniature. Its too clean and perfect. Needs to be darker and grittier. Nevertheless the paintjob is cool and well executed even if not to my taste.
it's not so much the brightness... Although I see your point... I'm just thinking he looks too clean! Yes - the rust is evident and well done, but... I dunno. Damn good though.
