Hi there, here is a Grenadier gnome from way back. Been trying to do what I can with these older miniatures for a bit of a challenge. That and I really like older miniatures, especially Grenadier, Ral Partha and Heritage stuff.

Nice job on a very characterful old school mini. I would tighten up the shading and highlights - the colors seem to run together a bit. Keep the old stuff coming!

Yeah, I wish a lot more people would paint these and show them off. I'm surprised actually, because Grenadier stuff sells really well on E-Bay, but after people buy the stuff I don't know what they do with it. The only reason I ever buy it is the hope of getting around to painting it, which these last two weeks have been pretty all right paintwise because I've been off work recovering from a surgery. Normally I'm lucky if I paint a figure every two weeks or so. And I can't even imagine having a three month old at home any more, those days are long gone! Good luck and hope you get some sleep!
