Thindra Thundercloud - better pics

First off, there are a lot more sides to this mini than what I've got going on in the picture. Unfortunately my camera decided to play up, so these are the only ones that kind of came out okay. That said, I quite enjoyed this model. She's a priestess of Valaya and so is all about the gold and purple in her attire. The gold itself proposed a problem (there was just so much of it) but a couple of blue/black washes and judicious use of metallic medium brought things to a point that I quite like with the gold. The skin itself is the first time I've tride Mr. Nelson's advice to add a touch of green ink to get rid of the pinkness of the flesh coloured paints. I think it worked, but you are perhaps a better judge than I. The last two things about this model: 1. That wound on her elbow came about when the paint chipped. Rather than try and relevel the paintjob and bring it back to skin, I decided to do a fresh wound. 2. For those willing to look closely, you will several small Rare Earth Magnets on the model. These are used to attach the shield, her keg of healing ale, and other things going along with the model. You may ask yourself where are these 'extras'? The pics of those didn't turn out. Grrrrrrrrrr!!!!!!!!!!! Oh well, you run with what you get.
