The snow is artifical snow mixed with a little white glue and water. The grass blades are paint brush bristles from a hog hair brush that I used to do a blue ink wash with along time ago and never came clean. So I cut them from the brush and then put a drop of super glue in the middle when dry I cut them at the join and super glued them to the base before adding the snow mix.

Thanks now I just need to learn better photo-fu ,it is also different on non mecha mini than mecha. Alot of the things I was hoping would show up don't... Like the metallic blending on the sword, etc.
