Train Show 2007 Warhammer 40,000 Display
My latest project - a display for the 2007 Christchurch Model Train Show. The layout was called Planets of Conquest. The layout is themed around four different planets of my own devising in the Warhammer 40,000 galaxy. Over 200 figures were displayed, from space marines to zombies and traitor guardsmen. Nearly all of the figures were painted by me. We ran two locomotives, one nearly all scratchbuilt just for this project. The display consisted of 4 boards in a square shape. The boards were 1800 mm by 600 mm. The railway is completely removable so that I can use them for standard 40k games. You can see more photos here: http://www.ferrus-workshops.com/projects.html
