Okay there's a bit too much gloss but isn't it a VERY VERY good paint job? Look a the "fleur de lys" or the blak "precieuse" on her cheek! I love it!

while im not a fan of minis that are encased n gloss, i do think it has its place. certain things ARE in fsct glossy, shimmery cloth like silk for example. if you took time to actually look at the mini you would notice that the whole mini doesnt have a gloss finish. the skin and horse are matte, appropriately. think the paint is wonderful. the only minus points are for the cast mark on the horse butt. as for killing setails....a glossy texture is a detail. minis shouldnt be made for cmon, they should be made to look good for the painter. i smell a bandwagon somewhere....
