Space Marine (My Own Chapter The Desolation Angels)

Hi all Space Marines are not something that I normally paint. But I decided to give another one a go as it was recently the theme for a "for fun" painting contest. I decided I wanted my own chapter so I came up with the Desolation Angels. Here is a standard tactical marine armed with bolt pistol and chainsword. Lots of wear and tear and a couple of things that is not my normal style, ie NMM and Glowing eyes though they could have been better. Comments as ever very much appreciated.

great work tim, your quality shines through with this mini in the way that it goes away from what you normaly do but still comes out looking brilliant. Well done mate kepp em coming!!!!!

Nice different style for you but works very well..great job..the biggest let down is the skull on the back jus a bit too yellowy ...great rendition of a tricky colour

Beautiful definition, beautiful blending, intricate detailing, but that blood co-ogulated blade leaves me wanting a blood splattered marine! 10 anyway
