Reaper Dragon

Another Reaper Dragon from my collection. This one is listed as 'Amber Dragon', but I immediately saw it as a Blue Dragon. I scultped a hill for him to be hovering over, and a little bit of scenery on the base out of sculpey (there are a few gravestones on the far side). He turned out so tall though that I couldn't get a good photo of him on a flat angle and had to image him top-down.

Good choice to go with the Blue Dragon scheme - that's what the sculpt says to me as well. The blues themselves are great and the dragon as a whole is brilliantly done. The base does let it down a bit - it's just not in the same league but I love the dragon so I'll let it go this time ;) Great job

I think the "hill" would've worked better if you'd fashioned as perhaps a collapsed viaduct column or something - that's what the shape reminds me of anyway... Dragon's cool :)

My dragon-painting kung-fu is getting better. My sculpting kung-fu is still got a long way to go! The hill is just basically a HD foam block covered with a layer of epoxy putty. The original intent was a stepped hill, but I never got rid of enough of the squareness.
