GOLDEN DEMON POLAND 2007 - Gold in Warhammer Monster - Ogre on Rhinox
Hi all, here is my entry which won gold in Warhammer Monster category at Golden Demon 2007 in Poland. It took me several weeks of work, but the effort paid off! I wanted to add as many small but important details as: - bruises and wounds - freehand patterns on the vests (ogre's and gnobblar's) - patterns on the sacks - freehand patterns and heraldry on the banner he's sitting on - fading pattern on the sword - weathering - mutated dog-fish swimming under the ice - footprints on the snow - a stream of water leaking from melting snow onto the base - drops of water from melting icicles The inscription says "And whoever stands here he will die, because it's curs...." The end is intentionally washed off by the pool of water leaking from the crack on the back of the base (will be shown on another photo). I only regret the photos don't show all the fine details and freehand patterns, but you can see them on bigger and better pictures, which are available as always in my gallery at ChestOfColors.com.
