Here is my first attempt at a Necron Wraith and my second mini fully painted and sealed after a 10 year break. Please leave some feedback so that I may continue improving my painting.
Thanks!
You definately have the potential to be a lot better. By the look of it you know what you are doing but just need to take more time and be much neater. The base rim has blemishes and the paint job itself is way too thick. You should be watering down your paint to about the consistency of skimmed milk and apply it layer by layer. Metallics are a slightly different story but you can still water them down. For shading minis with lots of metal showing you might want to use progressively darker paint washes (not ink, ever) and then highlight with lighter tones of the metallic colour. Of course there are no hard rules but watering down my paint has helped me a lot. Now I just need to get wet blending down (and about a zillion other techniques). Keep it up!
