Thunderbolt Mountain Wood Elf Noble, Mounted

As most other will tell you, you really need to see these Tom Meier figs in person to appreciate the amazing technical skill involved in sculpting them. I believe these were the first "true" 30mm scale figure I've seen, much less painted. Please keep in mind when voting that the details on this fig are fully half as small than those on most other manufacturers. This figure is part of a larger diorama showing this and the mounted version. I painted these in late 2006 for Carin and Tom Meier and for a tutorial as part of TMP's workbench series. The article, in three parts, can be seen here: http://theminiaturespage.com/workbench/799708/ http://theminiaturespage.com/workbench/242961/ http://theminiaturespage.com/workbench/565783/ The version of this fig on foot and the wooded display base I made for them can been seen my gallery.
