ELDAR FALCON - GOLD W40K VEHICLE GD POLAND 2007

Hello everybody =DD I have the pleasure of presenting you my model which won me gold at Polish Golden Demon on September 2nd in Warsaw. ;) It was the first edition of this contest, the staff stood up to the expectations. I won my first Demon at last :D!! The previous years I wanted to go to France, Germany, or UK. Always something didn't allow me to go. But this time, when we got our own edition of the GD in Poland - I entered and won gold :) It was the only category I entered. And I am really happy of this because I started myt works on this FALCON too late. Painting the very model alone took me some 3 weeks. The first vehicle for 40K in my life ;) But the risk paid off and I am happy with it! There were many inspirations for me: GIGER's works - one of my favorite artists :) Yellow One's falcon - my obvious source of inspiration for making this. Stargate - one of my favorite movies, sourse of the egyptian theme of this model. Darkness - my favorite comic-book character, fragments of which can also be found on the vehicle :) There was more but I won't bore you any more. I believe the whole contest was on a pretty decent standard. :) It was also thanks to the foreign guests who appeared: Julien Casses, Jertemie Bonamant Teboul, Ben Komets, Alex Holmen, Oscar, and of course Matt Cexwish. Great thanks for coming! It was nice to meet you :) Ending this I would like to thank the jury for their good job! see you in a year!! Very nice painting, and I for one really like the wave sculpting. Besides the very great and clean coloring it's a bit hectic for the eye.

Great model, but the base is really lackluster compared to the paint job on the vehicle. "Ending this I would like to thank the jury for their good job!" lol...
