Empire general mounted

Hi all, another mini from an empire comission. apologies for all the pics but there is so much detail on this thing! i tried to keep the colours simple as this could easily end up very garish! experimented with blue washes on the metals. Only change i made is the comet the skeleton holds. this is normally a hammer but it snapped off and got lost so added this instead. Enjoyed painting this and hope you enjoy seeing it Cheers, Brett

(7.8) This is a very striking model - i like the shading on the horse especially and the colours work well to achieve an impressive mini. The base is simple and very well done which adds more focus to the mini. The only problems I can see are a bit of a mold line showing on the horses hoof and I think the face needs more defination. Also The highlighting on the cloak looks a little too extreme, the cloak still looks good, but definately too extreme so I've rated it .2 less than an 8.
